Winter Offers Ehrwald / Zugspitz Arena
The Zugspitzarena and the villages of Ehrwald, Lermoos and Biberwier are fantastic skiing, snowbarding and and winter hiking areas on the sunny side of the Zugspitze. The Zugspitze Peak is an ideal skiing area for families with at least 35 modern uphill facilities, the high skiing area on the Zugspitze glacier at an altitude of 2,600 metres above sea level and countless alpine slopes at all levels of difficulty. Our ski schools in Ehrwald make sure that beginners enjoy professional attention.
Cross-country skiing fans will also find ideal conditions in Ehrwald. A network of cross-country skiing tracks, kilometres in length, enables the skier to practice every style from the classical to the skating. The network extends throughout the whole of the Zugspitz Arena. Access to the tracks is only a few minutes away on foot from our Hotel.

Our guests and families with children will find further opportunities for winter sports and leisure activities on the ice-skating rink Ehrwald, in the indoor swimming pool only 300 - 500 metres away from the Hotel and free for our guests) and at the Toboggan Run on the 'Ehrwalder Alm'.
We also recommend a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the 'Ehrwalder Moos' in the valley basin, or an excursion to the nearby points of interest and shopping centres.
